About Me
My Czech teaching journey started back in 2018, when I was studying in Regensburg and Chemnitz, Germany. At that time, I was working hard on my English and German, but somehow I enjoyed speaking Czech with foreigners even more. Eventually, I started organizing Tandem meetings so we could practice together.
Later, when I returned to Brno, I made many foreign friends and naturally became the friend who went with them to the bank, the police, the hospital, the evil Pošta or checked their Google-translated messages to landlords or bosses. I didn’t mind but from my own experience abroad, I know how much better it feels when you can handle these things on your own. That was the moment I decided to start teaching Czech full-time.
Since then, I’ve helped people prepare for work, studies, exams, adoptions, family events, dates, or simply just to understand what's going on in their surroundings. I do understand how important these moments are and how amazing it feels to succeed. I’ve also been an outsider abroad myself. I lived in the UK, Germany, Austria, and Spain - and it was a struggle at first, but eventually I found my place in each of the countries.
My wish for you is the same - and I’ll be here to help you every step of the way.
